Alex Duong is the youngest of six children of Huong Thanh Le (tailor) and Noul Van Duong (machinist). Alex is of Vietnamese, Chinese, and French heritage. He grew up on the Eastside of Dallas, Texas where he attended Skyline High School and eventually North Dallas High where he graduated and went on to pursue a degree in medicine.While on a full-scholarship at Baylor University, Duong excelled in his undergrad studies and was left with an open semester where he enrolled in theatre courses which led to his first acting gigs in regional theatre productions.Deciding to pursue his hobby as a career, He uprooted himself and made the trip to Los Angeles in the winter of 2006.
