Alyssa Mann grew up in Howell, NJ, the daughter of salesman David Mann and art teacher Lori McCoy. She attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU studying Meisner with Vicki Hart and Shakespeare with Louis Scheeder (among others). After making the theatre rounds in NY she moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and is best known for her work in Netflix's Dear White People and indie film Palace Living where she was nominated Best Actress at the Visionfest Film Festival with TriBeCa Cinemas.
