Angie Gregory was born on January 25, 1975 in Paducah, Kentucky, USA. She was raised on a farm in Kentucky by a working-class family. Angie is of Irish, Scottish, German, and Russian descent.In elementary school, Angie discovered her love for writing and directing plays. After high school, she was a vagabond for several years before enrolling at Murray State University in 1999 to study TV production and theatre. In 2004, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.Angie worked on several films and TV shows such as E! Channel's "Diary of An Affair." She also experimented with directing her own short films until 2010, when her heart health rapidly declined. One of Angie's few regrets was being a "Dean's List dropout" so she returned to Kentucky during her cardiac troubles to complete the few credits needed to earn her Bachelor's degree. In December 2010, Angie graduated cum laude.Angie had open-heart surgery on February 10, 2012 in Indianapolis to reconstruct her heart muscle and repair her mitral valve. She returned to Los Angeles in January 2013, feeling restored and renewed. She booked several acting gigs right away, including a principal role on the Season 13 Finale of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Angie was also cast in "The Republic of Rick" as Beth Whitehead, a Texas preacher's wife. The film was a 2014 official Slamdance Film Festival Selection and praised by USA Today and MovieMaker Magazine as a top pick and highlight of the festival.Angie lives in Los Angeles with her life-partner Lori Jean Wilson. They have one son and several rescued cats. She is active with a variety of philanthropic foundations, many of which are children's charities in memory of her nephew, a pediatric cancer patient, who passed away in 2009. Show less «
