Armen Ksajikian was raised in Sokhumi, Abkhazia, in the former USSR. His late father, Arsen, was a dental surgeon. Armen Ksajikian was raised in Sokhumi, Abkhazia, in the former USSR. His late father, Arsen, was a dental surgeon. His mother, Seta, was at one time a dancer with an Armenian dance company, and later a homemaker. Armen studied in Russia and later in the United States. Since arriving from his native country in 1976, Armen performed with Jascha Heifetz in his master class and has been featured soloist with numerous orchestras, including the LA Philharmonic. He performed the Canadian premiere of three of Peter Schickele's (better known as P.D.Q. Bach) chamber music works. Armen is a studio musician recording for television and motion pictures.
