Born to Vernice Clanton and the late Christopher Quattlebaum in Maryland. From an early an Chris was exposed to "real life" watching his parents battle with addiction, Chris found a way to escape. That was in Fine Arts. Chris began acting at the tender age of 12 in the HBO mini series THE CORNER where he played a recurring STREET KID. From then on he was bitten by the acting bug and before long we would see him again as SAVINO BRATTEN in HBO'S The Wire where he recurred for two seasons. Going on to complete a selection of INDIE films before relocating to Los Angeles in 2013. A father of two girls, Christian Clanton (11) and Courtney Clanton (3) he made a promise that before he passes on to the "other life" his children will know that their daddy was a "somebody".
