American actor George Thomas Mansel was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is the son April (Hochhalter), a saleswoman, and Michael Mansel, a business owner and salesman. George Thomas originates from his generations of grandfathers. George was the first of three children, with a younger sister and brother, Blake and Jackie. His ancestry is Irish, English and German decent. His father Michael, from New York and mother from Minnesota met in Florida when his father beat up a bar patron for harassing his mother; it was love at first sight. The Mansel family resided in Florida before moving to Woodbury, Minnesota in 1989. It was here that George realized he was an entertainer and story teller.George attended all his basic education schooling in Woodbury where he excelled was turning the hallways into his stage, spending more time in detention or suspended than in class. To him the satisfaction came in making his fellow classmates laugh uncontrollably at his troublesome expense. Whilst not officially enrolled, George attended The University of Minnesota for a couple years, moonlighting as a Victoria Secret store whilst living on the campus with six women and sneaking into classes.His heart set on Hollywood, George got serious and made the journey to Los Angeles. He started his training in Los Angeles at The Groundlings Theater and School & James Franco Studio 4 before going on to study The Artist Within and Film Technique.George has had roles on acclaimed series including Sons of Anarchy (2008), The Office (2012), Drunk History (2013), American Crime Story (2016), and most recently Feud (2017). His debut into film began with a role as a cowboy in American Sniper (2014), followed by the violent character Roughhouse Ric in The Motherfucker (2015) and a cop in The Nice Guys (2016). He's also appeared in several short films; most recently as a frustrated director in More of a Feeling Than a Flavor (2015), and as a fictionalized version of himself in mockumentary Bradley and the City of Dreamers (2015) directed by Richard John Taylor.Outside of performing, he loves the beach and all it has to offer. As a leader and well rounded team player he is working constantly on self-improvement and sharing any motivational, tips, tools, and knowledge to teammates, friends, and associates. His main goal is to make a mark in the world and to improve his craft with the best collaborators.George currently resides in Venice Beach and whilst studying at The Bernard Hiller Acting & Success Studio, is currently preparing for several film roles, gaining attention as a serious contender.
