Georgina Moffat is a composer, singer-songwriter and actress. She is a member of the Beerbohm family and is of Australian, English, Dutch and Russian ancestry.As a child, Georgina grew up in Budapest, then Paris with her parents and sister. The family moved to Amsterdam in her teens where she was subsequently signed by Elite model management. However, Moffat did not stay in The Netherlands so as to finish schooling in the UK.Georgina reached commercial success in 2007 as part of channel 4's teenage drama "Skins". After finishing filming in 2008, Georgina attended UCL in London to study philosophy and art history, where she also began working as a songwriter and composer, writing for both record labels as well her own material.Georgina comes from an artistic family, and many members have been highly regarded in the arts and film industries. She is the great-great granddaughter of actor and RADA founder Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, and the granddaughter of screenwriter and producer Ivan Moffat. Ivan was married to Katherine Smith, daughter of William Henry Smith, 3rd Viscount Hambleden and philanthropist Patricia Herbert. Her great grandmother - Iris Tree - was similarly, a celebrated actress and poet, known for "La Dolce Vita" and for being the muse of artists Modigliani, Jacob Epstein and Augustus John.
