Psychotherapist, Coach and a man on a quest to make sense of the world.Born and raised in England, Jamie has been through it all; he survived boarding school, been an 80s pop drummer, hobnobbed with Royalty, reinvented careers, you name it; he's witnessed it all.Through the journey of life's lessons and adventures, Jamie developed his specialties in couples work, anxiety disorders, addiction management, and personal reinvention. In his executive coaching work, Jamie brings his brand of "Unconventional Coaching for Exceptional Leadership Effectiveness" and how to truly be free in the business world, rather than a slave to it.At 18, he attended Pepperdine University in Malibu and gained his BSc in Sports Medicine, graduating in 1986.In 1989, he graduated with an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy and in 1992 Jamie received his license as a psychotherapist and has built a thriving reputation in his private practice and as a teacher, mentor and leadership trainer. He fostered a loyal following in such classes as Overcoming Fears, Phobias and Anxiety, Hidden Addictions and the Art of Negotiation. It was through teaching that he was able to discover his true purpose - helping others make sense of the world surrounding them and that it's never too late to change. His Zen like approach to personal coaching combined with his British sense of humor and refreshing straight talk, has helped hundreds of teens, young adults, grown-ups, couples, executives and teams change their entire perspectives of work and life.In 2005, he was cast as a real-life marriage therapist in the FOX show Marriage 911 and helped to save a marriage on the rocks in just one week. The couple is still thriving years later. In 2011, Jamie can be seen as Therapist and Life Coach to Brad Womack on Season 15 of The Bachelor (2002) on ABC.Jamie shows his clients that it doesn't matter who they are; it's how they are in the world that will make their lives more meaningful and rewarding.
