Jennifer Mary Mears was born in New York, New York and raised by her mother and two grandparents. Jennifer studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Jennifer first was introduced to the art of acting through her mother, Valerie, an actress in her earlier years. Jennifer instantly fell in love with acting after watching the film Imitation of Life-a suggestion of her mother. Jennifer's passion for acting is in front of the camera and behind the scenes in the Locations Department for highly acclaimed shows and movies like Orange is the New Black, Blue Bloods, Show Me a Hero and The Wizard of Lies.
