John or J.T. as his friend's call him was born in the small town of Union City, Tennessee, which located in the far North West corner of the state near the geological phenomenon, known as Reelfoot Lake. He was first bit by the acting bug at the age of 20, when a scene from the movie "U.S. Marshalls" was to be filmed at Reelfoot Lake. Due to some miscommunication an opportunity to be a stand-in was lost. He would not get another opportunity to enter the entertainment business till late 2010 at the age of 36. He was laid off from a factory and was waiting to start school when he saw an ad on craigslist for court room extras in the crime reenactment show "Sins and Secrets". He submitted his picture and stats and was asked by production to come and fill seats for no pay. He showed up at the federal court house and asked where the show was being filmed and no one knew anything about it. Thinking he was being tricked or scammed in some way he left. Shortly after leaving he e-mailed the trickster congratulating them on the success of their little joke. They immediately emailed him back and implored him to please come back, that someone was supposed to have met him down stairs and they were very sorry for the mix-up. Once back on location he found where the show was being filmed at and instead of a jury member or seat filler in the audience, he was asked if he would mind playing the assistant defense attorney and then was asked to stay later and be the attorney in the defendant's interrogation scene. Needless to say, he had been officially bit by the bug again and has worked sporadically on more reenactments and as an extra on a few popular television shows Like "The Vampire Diaries", "Teen Wolf", and Necessary Roughness" and a few movies, as well as speaking roles in some independent films, all while attending school for a degree in computer networking. He is very grateful for his success so far and say's none of it would have been possible without the support of beautiful wife Arrah Ford. Show less «
