Julie Fine was born in Lancaster, Massachusetts and was schooled in Harvard, Massachusetts. She began her career in New York at the age of 17 modeling for clients such as Nine West, Diesel, and Seventeen Magazine. After graduating high school, she accepted a position in a New York private equity firm, where she learned about infrastructure plans designed to foster Israel-Palestinian accord through economic development initiatives in Israel's West Bank, a subject that Fine follows closely still today. It was while working in finance, that she fell into acting by accident when she was cast on the street for an MTV "Spankin' New" High Speed Internet commercial. Out of curiosity, she continued to do acting jobs and later trained and performed at New York's Stella Adler Conservatory. Later Fine studied for one year at the Sally Johnson Studio (presently called "The Studio") in New York City, and later with Joanna Beckson in the area of Meisner. Since the completion of her first few independent films, Fine has done 3 national commercials for Kellogg's Special K. Fine has also worked for many European print catalogs, has been chosen as the face of many fashion brands for fashion houses including Jocavi, Tom Tailor, B2 Fashion, Xandres, Neckerman, Macy's, Bon Prix, Tchibo, Claudia Stevens... just to name a few. Fine has also had fashion editorials in Nina Magazine, Femina Magazine, Brigitte Magazine, Freundin Magazine, Glamour Magazine, and Seventeen Magazine. Fine splits her time between modeling, commercial acting jobs, and a cross-media personal project slated for release in 2010. Show less «
