Matthews began acting as a teenager in America's Most Wanted and in independent short films. After graduating from Trinity University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics, she pursued her passion full time, earning lead roles in television pilot Gainful Employment, BET's For My Man as a love-struck woman, and in Investigation Discovery's Who the Bleep Did I Marry as newly wed in a troubled marriage.Today, Kamillah can be seen in the digital comedy series Genereckless as the narrator and quick witted main character Brittany.
