Born & raised in East St. Louis, IL. Made first theatrical stage debut at the age of 7 in a local production of "Purlie". Both parents are in the arts: Mom was a high school voice teacher; Dad danced professionally for years under Katherine Dunham! Graduated from University of Central Missouri with a BA in Theater. Performed in many regional stage plays & musicals throughout the St. Louis, MO area including Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, etc. Made first film appearance while living in Los Angeles, Ca (Time of Her Time).
