Katie Hubbard, born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, knew acting was her passion from the age of 3 years old when she entered theatre. She began training and acting with Lexington Children's Theatre and continued with the University of Kentucky's Academy of Creative Excellence (ACE) and most recently Stage Right Acting. From Queen Rabbit in The Wolf's Story of The Three Little Pigs and Peppermint Patty in a Charlie Brown Christmas to feature roles in her middle school's adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, LCT's The Adventures of Madeline and Stage Right Acting's Willy Wonka Kids, she has enjoyed nearly a decade of theatre work. Katie made her debut in film when she had a cameo in Christopher Kelder's Jenkins' Choice. She loved being on set and has filmed roles from background on major motion picture sets to supporting and lead roles in student films, shorts and feature films including Resolute: A Horror Short, Ghost In The Family and The Rave. She also was featured in several television series runs, local commercials, has interviewing and broadcast experience and has already signed on to many projects in 2018. Katie also has a love of fashion and enjoys her time as a print and runway model. A typical eighth grade girl, Katie enjoys social time with her friends, loves the outdoors and all animals - especially her two dogs, Buster and Rocky. Katie's success in the classroom and community earned her recognition as a 2016-17 Young Achiever by the International Leadership Network and is a Junior Thespian in the International Thespian Society. In her debut film in only a cameo role, Katie won Best Child Actress and Fan Favorite Awards for Jenkins' Choice at the International Christian Film Festival in July 2016. One of Katie's proudest moments was traveling to Los Angeles to compete in an international talent competition - IMTA. She received many awards, one of which named her a finalist for Pre-Teen Actor of the Year. Katie is excited to enter the renowned School of Performing and Creative Arts (SCAPA) Lafayette in the fall of 2018-19. Katie is represented by Images Model and Talent Agency. Show less «
