Lieschen Pogue is a stage and screen actress hailing from Sydney, Australia. She is a graduate of the prestigious Actors Centre Australia joining well loved fellow alumni Hugh Jackman and Colin Farrell.She burst onto the Television scene winning roles on some of Australia's most popular and highest rating TV shows including, 'Underbelly (III)' alongside Emma Booth (Australian Film Institute Award winner), 'Packed to the Rafters' with Rebecca Gibney (Logie Award winner), 'Home and Away" and the hit TV series 'Tough Nuts.'Lieschens' love for stage also lead her to be a part of many varied theatre productions. Her performance of Adriana in Comedy of Errors on the main stage at the Australian Shakespeare Festival was notably exceptional.Now based in Los Angeles she has been awarded a scholarship to the Lesley Kahn Institute, studied at the highest level at the Ivanna Chubbuck studio and Lieschen currently trains with Diana Castle at the Imagined Life studios.Still new to the US scene, she has completed a lead role in the US feature 'The X Species', and also starred in the TV comedy series "This Old Thing" (which won a developmental award with Comedy Central at NYTVF).Lieschen has a series of national commercials airing in Australia alongside fellow Aussie actress & starlet Isla Fisher.
