Maja Juric was born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia (Bosnia & Herzegovina) to Zeljimir and Merseda Juric. She spent her earliest childhood in the Bosnian war, before moving to Germany for 4 years. When she was 6 years old her 33-year-old mother passed away of brain hemorrhage. Her father never remarried and they moved in with her fraternal grandmother.She enrolled at the Academy of performing arts in 2013 and is now a graduate. She is known for her role in Jacques Molitor "Mammejong", Nils Willbrandt "Pregau", Rasit Görgülü "Secrets from the past"She is fluent in Bosnian (Croatian, Serbian), German and English and is currently learning French.
