Committed to her craft, Regina has played roles from Shakespeare to Caryl Churchill, working in professional theaters, as well as in films and TV. She can be seen next in season 3, episode 2 of The Leftovers series on HBO, premiering on April 23, 2017. She executive produced and starred in a short film "The Love We Accept" which won the prestigious Platinum Remy Award at the 48th WorldFest-Houston 2015.Since 2009, she has trained and continually study with Kim Tobin, Deke Anderson, and Carolyn Johnson. She also has studied with Philip Lehl, Beth Sepko, Michelle De Long, Brad and Kimberly Burton, Guy Roberts, Eleese Lester, Heaven Stephens, John Lansch, Cathy Henderson, Paul Weber, Tom Logan, Toni Cobb Brock & Sally Allen, and Sandra Zimmer.She has worked with Margaret Cho and Tegan and Sara in their music video Intervention. Her work in films include Holy Wood (which she also executive produced), The Ultimate Commitment, Descension, Private Guys, Nosy, Half Pipe, Deck Chair, Sunshine, and Book, as well as principals in numerous commercials and industrials. Her recent theatre credits include the World Premiere of Dollface at Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company, the Regional Premiere of Love and Information by Caryl Churchill (with Main Street Theater), and the World Premiere of Hair Like the Sun (with Texas Repertory Theatre). Other theater credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth (with Stark Naked Theatre Company), Not Mad (with Hune Company), Museum of Dysfunction V (with Mildred's Umbrella), Dinner with Friends, The Women, The Wayside Motor Inn, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.Regina was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, to a civil engineer father and a banker mother. From the age of 4, she has showed great interests and talents toward the arts, having had intensive training in piano and dance, started with traditional Indonesian dances to Ballet and Jazz and continued on to Country Western, Modern, Tap, Ballroom, and Argentine Tango.In 1995, she moved to the United States to pursue her college degree. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. She pursued career in the corporate world for about 7 years before finding her way back into the arts. After taking her first acting class, she has fallen in love with the craft and has been pursuing it wholeheartedly.She is a hand-lettering artist and will be selling her work online. When she is not on stage, in front of the camera, or in acting class, she works as a Standardized/Simulated Patient at the Clinical Competence Center of New York, at the Morchand Center for Clinical Competence at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and at the New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences (NYSIM) at the NYU Langone Medical Center.
