Reynaldo Rivas Rios was born on September 16th, 1982 at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. He is the son of Raquel Rios, a Nutrition Educator for Cornell University Cooperative Extension in New York City; and Raymundo Rivas, a commercial truck driver and accomplished musician. Reynaldo has one older sibling by the name of Carlos Ruben Bosques.Reynaldo graduated from The Beacon School (High School) in June 2000 and at 17 years old was one of the youngest students enrolled at Buffalo State College that year. He majored in Communications with a minor concentration in Spanish Language and Literature.During his time in college Reynaldo became heavily involved in the Athletic Department, becoming the first Hispanic male to be apart of the Buffalo State Cheerleading team. He was also the teams' first male captain. Reynaldo was a prominent fixture in Greek life at Buffalo State as a member and soon after, President of the Zeta Beta Tau (Beta Tau Colony) Fraternity. After his time at Buffalo State, Reynaldo stayed in Western New York working for some of the top banks in the area as a Mortgage Auditor. He worked various jobs through his young adult life, mostly specializing in the Banking Industry. At the same time, while not fully separating himself from his collegiate ambitions, he became Buffalo State's Assistant and then Head Cheerleading Coach. During his short 3 years as coach he helped the Buffalo State Bengals Cheerleading team win a COA National Championship as well as two (back-to-back) New York State Championships.Due to the economic crisis that plagued most of the country in 2008, Reynaldo was forced to leave the Banking industry in search of a much more stable career, leading him to moved back to New York City. He settled in the Bail Bonds Industry, first working for ABC Bails Bonds (New York, NY) as a clerical associate before being promoted to Office Manager, then after Human Resources Manager, working for sister-company AAA Bail Bonds (Bronx, NY).It was here, at AAA Bail Bonds, where Reynaldo became a familiar face in the community as a Bail Bondsman. His popularity combined with the positive reputation that AAA Bail Bonds had garnered in the Bronx, is what initially brought attention to the producers of the popular 2017 TV Mini Series; "TIME: The Kalief Browder Story". Reynaldo and AAA Bail Bonds where briefly featured in the first episode, as the series took a brief look at the inner workings of the Bail Bonds industry in New York City. Show less «
