Rupert Anthony Ortiz, born in Austin, Texas, attended Bastrop High School had dreams of one day living in Hollywood making movies. He never believed one day he would actually start a career in the film industry.After completing and having a red carpet premiere at The Austin Film Society for his first short film The Letter (2010) in May of 2010, Rupert decided to leave behind family and friends and move to Los Angeles, California to further pursue his film making talents.Rupert began networking with people in the industry and it wasn't until a friend suggested he read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho that his life changed. With inspiration plenty and over the next few months, Rupert Anthony began working hard on his second project, a full length feature film called Cumpleanos.Rupert Anthony is creating buzz in the Latin community about his future success in the industry.
