Sean Cisterna is a Toronto-based filmmaker. A graduate of York University's Film and Video program, Cisterna began his directing career on the PBS Kids show Ricky's Room. After directing commercials for Corus Entertainment he produced the feature film My Brother's Keeper and directed the YTV musical, King of the Camp. His 2011 feature film road trip comedy, Moon Point, played the international festival circuit to great success, winning several awards. Moon Point was acquired for broadcast by The Movie Network, as well as a national home video release through Anchor Bay Entertainment. His 2013 project, 30 Ghosts, is a feature documentary on a struggling paranormal investigator. The film was produced under the Hot Docs Doc Ignite program. In 2014, Cisterna signed on to direct Full Out, the true story of Ariana Berlin, a California gymnast and Olympic hopeful who's dreams were shattered after a debilitating car accident. The family feature film chronicles her recovery, as she successfully blends hip hop with gymnastics and brings it to the gymnastics team at UCLA. Show less «
