Sergei was born on January 17, 1982 in Riga, Latvia, one of the Republics of the former Soviet Union. Raised by a Latvian speaking mother Elita Zelinsky and a Russian speaking father from Lithuania Yuriy Zelinsky was very helpful to learn other languages. In 2000 Sergei graduated from Riga City Plavnieku Gymnasium and moved to United States at the age of 18. America has been an adventure of freedom, spontaneity and the good will along with the passion in the film industry. Sergei has traveled 10 countries and over 30 states in the US and while living in Miami acting became a big part in Sergei's life. After Guest Starring on USA's "Burn Notice" series shot in Miami, Sergei knew it is time to move to Los Angeles. As an actor with huge interest in filmmaking Sergei spent his first six months in LA working on many Top TV series learning from the professionals of the industry. After working on CSI Miami Sergei decided to create a realistic, modern day feature Kokc ( Coke ) primarily based in Miami. The screenplay was written and turned into Writers Guild and Kokc went into works. After several trips directing, acting and making it happen to fit the budget in Miami and other cities Kokc has been shot now in 6 cities and is in post-production with scheduled release date of August of 2010.
