Tomeka Tiller was born in Mobile, Alabama and has been singing for a number of years as a gospel artist. Tomeka Tiller was born in Mobile, Alabama and has been singing for a number of years as a gospel artist. As the daughter of a pastor, Tomeka began displaying her soulful voice at the age of 4 in her father's church in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 11, Tomeka moved to Atlanta, GA with her mom and began singing in school, different talent shows throughout Atlanta. She later became member of a gospel group called Complete that obtained much success. In 2008, she wrote and premiered her first gospel stage play entitled "When the Sin Hits the Fan", which deemed successful and she ran 5 successful, sold out shows between 2008 and 2016. In 2010, Tomeka married Altrazo Tiller who would later become her partner in music and stage productions. Between 2015 and 2017, in conjunction with her husband, Tomeka produced and directed 3 more stage plays ( The Ballad of Sweet Auburn , HO The Screams of Passion) that were all successful.Tomeka's singing and theater experience has opened many doors for her. In 2015 she landed a major role in the historical stage production, Beauty Shop, written by the legendary Shelly Garrett. Tomeka is a member of SESAC and NABFEME and has performed for Women Who Jam, Wednesday Winddown (a concert series in Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park). She has made several TV appearances including WATC Atlanta Live TV 57 and the Charlie More show. Tomeka is still writing, acting in various stage plays, films and singing. Show less «
