Webb Wilcoxen studied film at the School of Visual Arts, working as a sound designer, film editor, and cinematographer. He was awarded SVA's Dusty Award for Best Sound for his work on the film "Life Before Me." Upon graduating, he moved to Boston. He has written feature-length screenplays and worked as a sound designer for several stage productions in New York. He is the founder of ABNERIA, a comedy collective of 7 Boston-based writer/performers. In addition to writing a large percentage of ABNERIA's material, he is the Co-Executive Producer and Co-Technical Director of the show.He co-wrote, directed and edited the award-winning documentary "A Time To Dance." Narrated by Ruby Dee, it has been featured in screenings at Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Anthology Film Archives NYC, the Harvard Film Archives and numerous film festivals. His play "The Fairy Tale Project" was awarded a grant from the Greenwall Foundation and was produced by the Labyrinth Theater Company at New York's Public Theater under the artistic direction of Philip Seymour Hoffman. He was commissioned by the Obie Award-winning Vampire Cowboys Theater Company to write the book and lyrics for an original horror musical-comedy "Cynthia and the Dreadful Kite."He is a member of LAByrinth Theater Company, BMI Musical Theater Workshop and the Dramatists Guild of America.
