Chad Dylan Cooper is the teenaged star of the prime-time soap opera MacKenzie Falls. He is played by Sterling Knight and is believed by some to be based on former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek.Chad and the rest of the cast of MacKenzie Falls share a studio warehouse with the cast of So Random!, a sketch comedy series similar to the long-running Nickelodeon series All That. However, while girls everywhere swoon over Cooper, both male and female castmembers of So Random have been engaging in a long running feud with him and the rest of his co-stars.
