Nico is the head of security for the New York Hawks football team. He has a tough, wiseguy exterior, and will protect the team, and the people associated with it at all costs. He gives the impression that if someone needs to disappear or be paid to keep quiet, it will be done. He is in charge of maintaining the image of both the team and the players, and has been known to bring them to Dr. Dani's door at all hours of the night, or to escort her to them. Beneath the tough guy exterior seems to be a heart of gold--but don't mess with him or the people he is in charge of protecting. Nico is very mysterious about his past, but does eventually reveal to Dr. Dani that he is from Pittsburgh.
