Sang is a Chinese henchmen to the criminal organization mastermind, Juntao. He serves as the right hand man noted through his authority over others. In the movie Rush Hour, he is the primary antagonist. In the beginning of the film, he narrowly escapes a confrontation with Chief Inspector Lee and gets away on a motorboat. Sang is later seen in Los Angeles on an early morning to receive and kidnap the daughter of Consul Han. The kidnapping is more than Sang expected as he underestimates Soo Yung's defiant capabilities and receives a trademark scar across his eye- split open from the young girl's necklace. Throughout the rest of the film, Sang contacts the FBI in order to ransom for Soo Yung and encounters another fast paced chase with Lee and this time Detective Carter through an abandoned alleyway where he drops a remote device for C4. His final stand is at the Los Angeles Convention Center where he violently shoots at several cops and FBI agents along with his own men, but before Sang could make one more cowardly escape, Carter corners him and shoots him fatally after a draw.Sang's characteristics match that of a borderline psycho as he gets overexherted with twitching in the final scene and early on in the movie, goads Inspector Lee to shoot him. He also lacks a sense of any real humor and coldly mocks Detective Carter's catchphrase of fight like a man . Show less «
