During the 1978 TV Series, the Hulk was the result of an accidental overdose of gamma radiation. Dr. David Bruce Banner would turn into the Hulk when he was extremely angry or in extreme pain. After this transformation, he would have super strength, but never talked - he would just growl. He was also able to heal unusually fast when injured. After calming down, Dr. Banner would change back into himself.As a result, David Banner is believed to be dead, so he assumed different last names beginning with B, while investigative report Jack McGee tried to track him down to get the story about him.
