White Path serves as the Chief Technology Adviser to the Unified Cherokee Nation, a fictional tribe possessing territory in North Texas complete with a negotiated treaty with the U.S. federal government. A simple Council of Elders governs this Cherokee nation. White Path is the grandson of one of the Cherokee Elders, the head shaman Sky Hawk.White Path's true heart lies in his grandfather's shamanic spirituality. He would describe himself as a scientist for purposes of self-defense. White Path represents a step away from the mystical, magical Native American character.He has a passion for teaching and possesses a natural gift reducing complicated subjects to simple terms. Like many Cherokee, White Path's greatest desire is to protect his people. This requires the tribe to keep a close eye on the actions of the U.S. government. This duty naturally falls to White Path at least in regards to strange American experiments in science and technology (H.A.A.R.P.). He takes this duty VERY seriously. White Path's deepest fear is that he'll discover the Truth, but it won't make any difference...that his work will all be for nothing.
