Athlete turned Actor, D.J. was born in Oceanside California, but raised eight hours north in Sacramento, California. Born to Stephanie McNulty and Derick Hale as Derick Jamall Hale Jr, He first began Acting at John Morse Waldorf Methods Magnet School from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Following the Athletic path of his Family, D.J.played Football, Baseball, and ran Track and Field starting at the age of Eight. Football became his main priority in the 8th Grade, dismissing Acting completely until reluctantly taking an Acting class at Palomar Junior College in San Marcos, California, where he realized how much he missed performing in his younger years! He decided to fully pursue a career in Acting after taking his first Acting class at Studio 24 with Cody Dorkin, located in Downtown Sacramento. Show less «
