Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in December 1982 , this beautiful brown eyed beauty was drawn to the prospects of an acting career as early as she can remember. Whether performing recitals for friends and family, school plays, community theater and dance competition Shailee's adolescent years was all about living the arts. While in high school she attended the renowned Art Academy where she sharpened her acting and dancing skills. From High School right on through her college years at the University of riverside, the energetic woman pursued her dreams of a career in showbiz with a vengeance by performing in a multitude of musical and dramatic performances on a nearly non stop basis. Shortly after graduating from UCR with a degree in Dramatic Arts, Shay Kazi moved closer to Hollywood where her dream of working in the Film/TV industry was rapidly becoming a reality when she snatched a nice recurring role in the NBC Soap Opera "Passions".
