In the new season of Train Travel along British Coasts, Michael Portillo starts his journey on the Isle of Man, continues towards the northwest of England, where he will visit cities such as Liverpool or Blackpool, enjoy the coastlines of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire counties, cross the Sea of Ireland to discover Northern Ireland and the east coast of Ireland, and will end the journey along the south coast of England. Michael will enjoy meeting the inhabitants of each region, proud of their history, culture and identity, to discover what makes each one so special and how they care for its vibrant character.
